Hey.

After your post on my blog, I took a look at yours . . . and saw that you have the weather for Danville IL in your RH column. I grew up in Danville.

So I'm wondering: Do I know you?

According to your profile I'm a bit older than you are, but not all that much. And I haven't lived in Danville since 1980. I'm just curious -- it's not that big a town.

So I started out life on Shadowlawn St. (which is just west of Gilbert and a bit south of Roselawn school), but moved to Tilton in the fourth grade. I assume you went to Northridge for Jr. High. I graduated in '84, so you moved before I would have started high school.
If you lived 'in the neighborhood' around Shadowlawn you would more likely know my brother Ken Strain.
Your post is very timely as I've actually been trying to find a way to contact you.
I'm on the board of the Vermilion Heritage Foundation, the group that owns and oversees the Fischer Theatre (www.fischertheatre.com).
We've just opened a gift shop featuring works from Danville artisans, and are in the planning stages of opening a museum to showcase 'famous' Danvillians.
If you EVER have anything you'd like to donate, either for sale or a future museum, we'd be thrilled to have it.
Also, I think it'd be really cool to have a signing in the theatre if there's another Star Wars book in your future.
